Happy Owloween!

Our all demonstrator meeting featured a shoebox swap. All the supplies needed to create the card should fit in a shoebox sized container excluding the Big Shot of course! Kits are prepared just as we would for a customer event with cardstock cut and scored, designer series paper and layers cut to size. We then stamp and assemble each other designs. It’s fun!

I’ll be sharing the shoebox swaps and all of the creativity from the meeting over the next week or two. So check back in for more inspiration. First up are two Happy Owl or Halloween cards.

YvonCarol Hamas designed this card. I love that the Spooky Night designer series paper moons are perfectly positioned so that 16 moons can be cut from one 12×12 inch sheet of paper. Yvon used our new Lemon Lime Twist in color paper to accent the fall colors. Black rhinestone jewels compliment the sentiment by drawing our eye to the bottom of the card, inviting us to peek inside.

Terry Schultz designed the cat card starting with the brick wall embossing folder. She enclosed the moon with a window cut from wood texture designer series paper pack using the Hearth and Home thinlits. Spookiness the cat (the name of the cat in my head, haha!) is punched from the Spooky Night designer series paper. Black mini sequin trim adds a touch of halloweeny on the sentiment strip.

Our Spooky Night suite along with full color samples can be found on pages 52 and 53 of the holiday catalog. Flip the page to 54 and 55 for more fangtastic halloween options. BOO!

Holiday catalogs are online at my store: click here to go to my online store. If you are local and do not already have a demonstrator, I am happy to be yours and provide you with free catalogs for being a customer of mine. Just ask!
