I Am A Visual Learner

It’s no surprise that I like to create visual interest using contrasting colors, textures and depth. I am also a visual learner. So when I get a paper crafting kit, I look for a Youtube assembly video on Stampin’ Up!’s channel. This greatly reduces my time assembling the kit because then I don’t have to think about where all the pieces will go. The kits make it easy to stamp a stack of cards quickly when I have run out of ready to mail cards.

The Sentimental Rose Kit I mentioned a few posts back does have an assembly video in the Kit Collection Playlist on the Stampin’ Up! Youtube channel. Here is a link to that video.

If you opt to sign up for Paper Pumpkin, our monthly kit subscription box, Paper Pumpkin has it’s own Youtube channel to share the assembly videos on. Here is a link to the November 2021 Paper Pumpkin assembly video to give you an idea of what to expect when receiving kits from Paper Pumpkin. The video publishes around the 20th of each month which is about the time kits start arriving in mail boxes.

There are basic written instructions included in the kits as well. Are you a visual learner, like to read the directions or listen to audio instruction? Add a comment below with your learning preference. Hopefully, we have you covered when creating with the kits!

P.S. The Kit in the header photo has an assembly video too. Here is the link for the No Matter the Weather Kit as narrated by our CEO, Sara Douglass.

Kits Make it Easy

I used the Christmas Whimsy card kit to help create the stack of cards that went out in this week’s mail pick up. I really liked the images since they were seasonal and well, whimsical. Gotta have a little fun sometimes;) This kit was part of the Kits Collection offered in the online store. The Kits Collection designs won’t be featured in catalogs since they are only available while supplies last. As new kits are available, they are added to the online store. There is always a selection of kits to pick from.

The Sentimental Rose All Inclusive Kit is so pretty and versatile with the included stamp set. Seriously, you don’t want to miss this one!

What’s included in this kit…

Another bonus is that all inclusive kits are gift ready. Just wrap, affix a bow and gift tag and done! Oh, except for the delivery part. Let Santa do that, lol! If you are ready to browse, zip to my online store through this link to see if there is a kit or 2 in stock that appeals to you.

I generally look for seasonal images and projects in a kit. What types of images and project types are you looking for in a kit? Add a comment below.

It’s Snack Time!

This is what kept me going making the pile of cards I shared in the previoius mailbox post. The hand stamped greeting cards are now zipping through the postal system! I’ve got my St. Isidore’s cheddar from Inga @aroundthefarmtable, last of the season fall apple, pistachios, Utz pretzels and an almond flavored cupcake. A festive luncheon plate always makes me think about my Grandma hosting the ladies for afternoon card games and tea.

What are your favorite snacks while stamping? Add a comment below. Maybe we share some of the same favorites:) Or I’ll find new favorites from your suggestions. Yummo!

You’ve Got Mail!

I love stuffing my mailbox with envelopes knowing they are going to cross the country and globe and land in my favorite persons’ mailboxes. Leave a guess as to how many envelopes I can fit in my mailbox in the comments section.

I’ll share how many went out in this mailing in a few days so people have a chance to leave some guesses. I’ll mail a greeting card to the person that guesses correctly or is the closest to the number. Good Luck Friends!

Quilted Paper Mat and Last Day to get on the catalog list

We hosted customers for a special edition of Black Friday presentations in a private Facebook group. Did you join us? All demonstrations, posts about tips and tricks are available for viewing from the comfort of your cozy stamp space. Ask me how to join the group if you missed the live day.

I created a quilted paper mat during one of my presentations in the group. My stack of 1 inch square pattern paper was piling up. So making a quilt square seemed to be the easiest way to reduce the pile and share the fun patterns.

I will be finalizing my order for the Spring and Sale-a-bration brochures this weekend. Make sure you are on the list to receive your copies from me by placing an order as directed below. Click the image below if your order is under $150 so you are linked to host VBFMJN42. (THE IMAGE INCORRECTLY LISTS AN OLD HOST CODE). If your order is over $150, remove the code while in the online store so you can enjoy all the host rewards yourself. Make sure to remain shopping with me if your order is over $150 so I can include you on my catalog list.

Here is a link to the my Youtube video showing how to create the quilted mat and greeting card.

Thanks again for supporting my small business!
