Add assorted pastel Stampin’ Write markers to create fruity colored gummy bears. I also used the triple banner punch. See it way over on the bottom left? It’s the details that make a fabulous card!

Sale-a-bration 2019 Paper Crafting Blog Hop

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring Sale-a-bration 2019 products. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Anastasia Radloff’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to make it easy on myself and use the fabulous Botanical Butterfly designer series paper as the focal point on the hand stamped greeting card. There are lots of already colored butterflies in large and medium sizes on this sheet. Just use a Stampin’ Up! paper snips to cut around the wings and voila! Instant beauty!

2 18 19bh1-001

Stamp a flourish from the Falling Flowers stamp set and “a little note” from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in balmy blue ink. Use a sponge dauber to highlight the berries in grapefruit grove ink. Change out the inks and cardstock layers to match the colors of the butterfly for cheerful cards.

After I created this post, I thought the card could use a few extra touches. So I swabbed Wink of Stella on the butterfly and embossed the highland heather layer using the Dot to Dot embossing folder.

All the supplies used…plus the Wink of Stella and the Dot to Dot embossing folder. The Faceted Dots name in English was cut off when I sized the photo. Now you know how to say it in a few other languages too:)

Welcome to the Celebration themed Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. It’s demonstrators’ choice for the celebration theme! We are Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators showcasing our fabulous products on scrapbook pages. If you are on the hop trail, you may have arrived from Jo Blackman’s blog. She had a great layout!

My project started with the Hello Cupcake Sale-a-bration 2019 stamp set. I had visions of multi-colored cupcake frosting with blackberry bliss wrappers. The 12×12 inch background and top photo mat are blackberry bliss too. The “sprinkles” stamp was used as a background stamp instead of cupcake toppers.

I decided to spotlight buzzing butterflies using the Botanical Butterfly Sale-a-bration 2019 designer series paper and coordinating Butterfly Duet punch. The “a little note” sentiment is part of the Butterfly Gala stamp set.
