Welcome to the Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. We are Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators showcasing our fabulous products on scrapbook pages. If you are on the hop trail, you may have arrived from Sharon Dalton’s blog. She had a great layout!

Bella and Friends is soon to be retired. So I wanted to officially use it one more time. It will stay in my retired stamp stash though. All the doggie themed stamps do:)

Use the word bubble ovals to add what you are thankful for.

Our heart epoxy droplets (item number 148583) are perfectly sized to fit the heart tag on Bella’s collar. The droplets also feature a medium and large size too. All 3 sizes are included in the package.

My Onstage Swaps

A highly anticipated activity when demonstrators gather is swapping. I knew my time leading up to Onstage convention was tight so I did not sign up for any swaps.

A day before departure, I realized I had some Card Buffet kits that just needed assembly. I brought 7 cards to swap and came back with 5. That math is a little off but I gave 2 of them to worthy demonstrators. Maybe they will snail mail me a card instead? I can only hope for happy mail:)

Here is the card I created…

I used sponge daubers for quick and easy coloring. Plus, the puppy needs to look fluffy so sponging was the best coloring option for this outcome. The stamp set Bella and Friends is being retired at the end of May. So order yours today from me!

These are the swaps I received in exchange from fellow demonstrators…

Is convention starting to look like a fun day? It is. I would love to have you join me in November. First step is to become a demonstrator on my team. Click the Contact button above to get started!

Pet Themed Blog Hop with Bella and Friends

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring projects that are pet themed. Any pet and any type of paper crafting project is allowed this month. Even scrapbooking of dust bunnies was allowed:)

Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Elizabeth Green’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The stamp set Bella and Friends was an immediate purchase for me when it became available. I add all the doggy themed stamps to my collection. When I become a million dollar sales achiever, I would design a doggy suite to include fun designer series paper. That sales amount is a long way off but it is good to have these details planned when the goal is achieved;)

So you guessed it, I used the stamp set Bella and Friends on my hand stamped greeting card.

The embossing folder is Scattered Sequins. Tranquil Textures is the designer series paper. A sponge dauber was used to color the doggy and add the shadow on the ground. The rest of the coloring is done with our Stampin’ Write markers.

Here are the supplies used to create this card…

Please add a comment and let me know if you have the stamp set Bella and Friends or the coordinating kitty stamp set Pretty Kitty in your collection.

Thanks for hopping with us each month. Now click on the next image to zoom to Sue Kremer’s blog and see what fun project she designed.

Here is a list of hoppers in case you get off the trail…

And the Winner is…

the puppy card as the favorite Card Buffet pick! Bella pulled ahead of the pack after a few more guests selected their cards.

Who can resist the stamp set Bella and Friends?  See the rest of the stamp set here.

Click here to see the blog post with a photo of the supplies used to create this card.

The least popular card was the cherry cobbler flower design. It is a very pretty design but since it is out of season where I live (cold and snowy), that may be the reason it was the least requested. See the original blog post with a supply photo here for this design.

Next Card Buffet is February 18th and 19th. Would you like to join us? Details will be posted soon. I need to have a design session first!

Have a nice day,

DIY striped Bella and Friends CASEing the Blog Hop Design 9

I helped coordinate a Sale-A-Bration 2018 Blog Hop that has 15 stops. If you missed it, click here to hop along. I am CASEing the designs on the hop to show you how to CASE. If you see a design you like but don’t have the supplies on hand, you can substitute with supplies you do have in stock.

My design below was CASED from fellow demonstrator Melanie Coverston and her Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop card entry #2. You can see her design by clicking here.

I made my own striped paper since I did not have striped paper in stock that color coordinated with the other colors on my card. To make your own striped paper, apply ink directly to the Simple Strips embossing folder on the raised stripes side as shown. After inking the embossing folder, place your paper at a diagonal inside the folder before flipping it shut and processing through the Big Shot.

The resulting diagonal pattern is on the bottom half of the card below.

I used markers to apply solid color to the images. I used a sponge dauber with crumb cake ink to lightly add fluffiness to the dog. I rolled up the smaller end of the sponge to lightly add always artichoke ink to the turtle head, legs and tail.

Pretty sure this design will be in the Card Buffet for January 26/27. Would you like to join us? Check out the details for the Card Buffet here.
