Purple is my favorite color (see the orchid opulence on my page?) so I use it in my creations whenever I can. I also like to surprise people with the unexpected. So I decided a pop of purple was in order for this dinosaur thank you card.

2 pops actually. The inside got a pop of purple button too.

Guests at my recent Cards for a Cause to benefit Breast Cancer Recovery Infinite Boundaries Retreats  certainly were not expecting this design! BCR’s logo color is purple so that was another reason to pop the purple.

Thanks to Kay and LuAnn, my demonstrators friends for donating their time, card design skills and supplies to help make the event a success. Here are the cards that the guests either made at the event or received fully assembled as Cards to Go.

That’s me delivering the $230 donation check to Klara the Program Director and Renee the Administrative Assistant.

BCR’s mission is to provide environments for women breast cancer survivors to heal emotionally. I attended my retreat in 2012 and have been volunteering since then. Please share their website with women that have had a breast cancer diagnosis. They can decide if the experience is right for them. I am happy to chat about my journey and BCR too. Just ask!
