The green patterned paper is being substituted with Hydrangea Hill paper from the new Spring catalog. The multi flower pattern now has a greenish strip print instead of the pink strip print. You also get a gold hoop instead of the gold thread.

It was 10 years ago that I was about to have a lumpectomy for stage 2 breast cancer. I don’t talk about it much but the journey is with me every day. It was a steep decline and a long struggle back. My body could no longer fight cancer cells but it strongly resisted the chemotherapy. There was no treat in treatment for me.
The chemo nurses would give me literature to help with symptoms. The Breast Cancer Recovery brochure was among the literature. I set it aside for when I would have strength, keeping in mind the retreat dates printed on the brochure. That day came in 2012 when I decided to attend a retreat because the retreat curriculum is written by breast cancer survivors, office is staffed by survivors and retreats are staffed by survivor volunteers too. So they understood what I was going through and could offer next steps to build back a life.
Fast forward to 2021 where I have been a Breast Cancer Recovery volunteer since 2013 as retreat staff, doing the tough job of chocolate judge during a fundraiser, hosting Cards for Cause to raise funds for BCR and attending other fundraising events.
