Where in the World is the SU catalog?

I was in my old town to share the last senior living session of the holiday season so thought I would stop by my old neighborhood. I use to live close enough that I could hear the calliope and the roar from the big top shows.

I could also hear the train being loaded for the journey to Milwaukee where they would be in the parade and make stops in towns along the way. Exploring the museum to learn the history was fun too.

Where is my next destination? I would love it to be the Greek Isles! That is the trip I can earn from SU by being a Super Awesome Stamper, Seller and Team Leader. I am hoping that my 15th year with SU earns me my first trip because the Greek Isles sounds like a trip of a lifetime! Where in the World is the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog?

I have visited this place before on my way to Wausau on Hwy 29. This time, I asked a cafe diner if she would hold the catalog in front of those glorious cheese wheels.

The cows are on site a few steps away from the cheese store and cafe. I think there is a walking tour that I will have to check out next time. They have a fun car to drive too!

This is the reason I stopped, mustard melange with a glass of kombucha, nuts and fresh cukes from the garden make a perfect snack or complete meal.

This the same view I snapped on my last visit shared is this blog post.IMG_7453

Need a Holiday catalog? It will be available online on September 1st but I have copies! Just ask and I’ll get one to you.

Thanks for stopping in today!

Where in the World is the SU catalog?

I have been busy hand delivering catalogs across Wisconsin. Sometimes, catalogs arrive at their final destination via courier service. This catalog was first delivered to my nephew who was suppose to deliver it to Darla but it did not make it into the delivery car.

So I picked it up at my sister’s house and with the quick thinking Minturns, we hatched the plan to deliver it to Darla’s husband’s work. When I arrived, I inadvertently asked if this was where Darla worked. I quickly corrected myself and asked for Mark instead. I then explained that I do Where in the World is the SU catalog blog posts, would they like to participate? I let them know that Mark participates too:)

They each picked a hand stamped greeting card in exchange for participating and being a courier service. Does anyone recognize these lovely ladies or know where Mark works? Add a comment with your guesses!

The final leg of the catalog courier service (that would be Mark) delivered the catalog to his lovely wife, Darla. She looks happy to have some new summer time material! She takes a great selfie too!

Where in the World is the SU catalog?

I am going to let the pictures do the talking since I am tired from a day of advocacy for the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition. Photos have already been shared on Facebook so this might be an easy one for those that already follow me on Facebook.

Dana and I had just finished our first meeting. As we rounded the corner, I spied the badger. I told Dana about my Where in the World posts. She was happy to participate and I was happy for a model to hold the catalog!

More hints where I was today. Bonus Points if you can name what job the people we were visiting have and what their names are!

Sandra Gines and Hayley Young from WBCC did a great job preparing and ensuring the day went smoothly. Thank you for that!

While waiting for my ride this morning, I remembered that a hand stamped thank you card might be a welcome piece of snail mail for the people we talked with today. I had a few notecards already stamped on hand so I grabbed those quick. Snail mail boxes will be a little more fun for a few people thanks to my ready made stash and quick thinking.

Another installment, play along if you can by adding your guesses! I asked the counter lady if she wanted to be in the photo and she said no. So I just got a shot of the glorious cheese case. There is another case too that is filled with curds and more cheese!

The cheese loot I purchased will be made into lasagna and enchiladas. The Rembrandt gouda will be a delicious snack with dates, nuts and kombucha!

Add a comment with your guess about Where in the World is the Stampin’ Up! catalog? I’ll post photos of the cheese as we cook with it for cheesy inspiration.
