Paper Crafting Blog Hop Thinking of You Guys

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of Thinking of You projects with guys in mind. You may have arrived from Sandy Ward’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The Color and Contour stamp set is a brand new set from the brand new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I used the sentiment on my card design. I have a pictorial tutorial for you today.

Two ice cream cone punched out shapes make the sentiment mat.
Rip a piece of the Ice Cream Corner patterned paper to create interest.
Flip a portion of the Cinnamon Cider cardstock back to create an easy fun fold.
Then attach the ice cream cone patterned paper over the liquid glue.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Thanks for hopping with us each month. Now click on the next image to zoom to Tracy’s blog and see what fun project she designed.

The Dandy Garden Suite features the best product in the January to June catalog…the Dandy Laser Cut Papers! There are 2 sheets of laser cuts in a package. I used the top middle laser cut on my design today.

See how the laser cut dragonfly adds instant wow…

Mat the Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Soft Suede cardstock and add a Ladybug trinket as shown in the card are on the right. Or leave off the card for a simple stamping look.

My Youtube video shows how it came together…

I hope you are enjoying our Thinking of You Guys themed Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Annette McMillan’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to stamp a birthday card since birthdays are a Thinking of You occasion. It’s a quick and easy card with just stamps, paper and inks.

I have pulled all my soon to be retiring stamp sets and placed them in a pile. It’s 24 sets which I will try to showcase on my blog one last time before they are gone for good! I used the sets in photo to create this card along with the Tailored Tags punch and Country Club designer series paper.

The inks used…look close the stamps have not been cleaned yet!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop Under My Umbrella

Under My Umbrella was calling me. I love stamp sets with coordinating punches because punches are so easy to use. I paired them with the Stitched Shapes framelits, pacific point ink, Noble Peacock Rhinestones, Basic Rhinestones Jewels, white Flax ribbon, blushing bride and mint macoron cardstock. The patterned paper is from the Follow Your Art package. I can totally see making bats from the larger umbrella shapes on the right. Can you?
