Taking Orders for Beauty of the Earth and Bloom Where You’re Planted Kits in the Mail

I have my next round of Kits in the Mail designed. Writing the blog post advertising the designs was next on my agenda. So it’s time to cross this task off my to do list and get it done right now!

I am stepping into autumn by creating with the Beauty of the Earth suite…

While still enjoying the bountiful summer patterns from the Bloom Where You’re Planted suite…

These greeting cards are vest folded with the personal greeting removed from the top opening. All supplies are included in the kits except adhesives, sentiment stamps and ink pads. Please note that patterned papers may be substituted as I work through my stock. Stampin’ Up! packages the patterned papers for customers, generally 2 sheets of each design per package with 6 designs per pack. Which makes kit stuffing a bit challenging, especially when I use large pieces of 2 cards per sheet such as in this design.

August Kits in the Mail on Sale Now!

I have a fun, flip fold featured for my August Kits in the Mail offering. It’s a new fold for me that traveled all the way from Australia via my demonstrator friend Tracy. I CASED her card to create my designs that I am sharing with you. It’s fun to have demonstrator friends around the world:) That’s a nice job perk I never expected.

Here is the first design. You will need to add your sentiment stamp since we are not allowed to add stamped images to our kits.

The next design features the Hand Penned Suite. I will include a sampling of the Hand Penned patterned paper so you can fussy cut some flowers since I can’t include the stamped, black flower and verse images in your kit.

Assembly videos will be emailed to you at the email address on file with PayPal.

Where’s Shirley Door Hanger Global SU VLOG Hop

Look at this fun door hanger! It announces where I am in the yard while visiting my parents. The story goes that Mom and I planned the next morning activities, the night before. I would be weeding in the pumpkin patch until Mom came outside. Then we would start the watering chores. Yelp, 4 hours later with my water bottle empty and snacks gone, I went inside the house to see where Mom was. She was just finishing up baking some sweets and was waiting for me to wake up so we could do the watering chores. She thought I had slept through the kitchen noise…zzzzzz

Alas, no. I got a good portion of the weeding done which will help the pumpkins and sunflowers drink all the available water for their own growth. Good thing because rain has been scarce.

This door hanger rests on the bedroom door. So I had the idea to make tags to indicate where I am in the yard so my parents can find me.

Watch my Youtube video going through each tag assembly and what activity the tags indicate. These would also make perfect card candy which is just a focal point on a card front.
