Paper Crafting Blog Bling Spotlight

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring BLING. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sandra Robert’s blog where she lives in the UK. She had a fabulous project!

My project needed a little something off to the left of the focal point. I created mossy meadow leaves by repeatedly stamping an image over whisper white leaves. A self adhesive backed Designer Element adds interest to the Petal Pink bow.

all the supplies used…Wink of Stella Glitter Brush run over the flower petals would increase the wow factor too. Wink is hard to photograph because it has a light glimmer sheen.

Thursday evening is being hosted by Carol a few blocks from where I live close to Buck and Honey’s restaurant. She reserved the spacious community room in her apartment complex for us to spread out. If you can attend the Thursday session to help make this event a success, Carol and I would appreciate it! If you are free on Friday, July 19th instead, we are back to my house for the Friday sessions.

Card Buffet Details:

Create 10 hand stamped greeting cards with all supplies cut according to the samples provided and tucked into the envelopes. You pick which designs to create and how many of each design from a buffet of options. Cost is $20.

Let me do the prep work for you! Add additional kits for $1 per kit.

Adhesives are $5 extra or bring your own. I’ll have new packages of glue dots, dimensionals, liquid glue, tear n tape and SNAIL for sale as well.

You are welcome to bring friends! A new friend that has not stamped with me before earns you an extra card kit. If you are a member of my Super Awesome Stampers team, you get an extra kit too.

Please invite your friends! I reserve the right to cancel the session if less than 3 stampers RSVP.

Scrapbook with Me!

blogscrapbook-001

Edit: To accommodate busy summer schedules, Scrapbook with Me dates have changed:

New session dates are Thursday, July 18th, 6:30-8:30pm and Friday, July 19th, 9-11am and 1-3pm.
Thursday is being held a few blocks from my house. I’ll give you address details when you RSVP. Friday sessions are back to my house.

So what to do with all the new pretty papers, rolls of ribbons and ever so lovely embellishments? You could create some greeting cards to share with friends but then you would not have them to enjoy in years to come.

How about joining me to scrapbook our favorites? On future rainy days, we can pull out the books, enjoy the stories behind the photos and remember times of past. I’ll do the page prep work, you add your photos and stories.

Each month will feature a different designer series paper pack and coordinating cardstock and embellishments. You will create 3, 2 page 12×12 inch layouts.

To help you visualize what a layout is, this butterfly layout below is 1, 2 page 12×12 inch layout. You would create 3 of these layouts during class. Each layout would have a different theme.

I provide all the supplies to create the layout in kits according to the samples.

You provide your favorite adhesives. I recommend a tape runner, glue dots, tear n tape and dimensionals. I’ll have new packages of adhesives available if you forget yours or need to replenish your supply.

Cost is $25 which is due 2 weeks prior to Scrapbook Day. I am going to try something different and host Scrapbook Day on the third Wednesday of the month (see above for July date changes) with drop in times available from 9:30am to 7pm. I hope the mid-week time will work for you. If you prefer a different time, just ask! I might be able to accommodate your request.

Scrapbook Days through the end of 2019 are August 21st, September 18th, October 16th, November 20th, December 18th. Commit to all 6 days and receive a thank you gift at the December 18th Scrapbook Day.

To RSVP or ask questions, click the Contact button above. Hope to scrapbook with you soon!

Scrap Nut Make-n-Take

Spent yesterday hiding in air conditioned coolness with these ladies. Scrap Nut is The place to set up your paper crafting supplies and work for hours. I generally use the empty table space to prepare card making kits for my senior sessions. I also bring my rug hooking but that’s too hot of a hobby for the summer.

I provided a make-n-take and here is what they created. Some opted to stamp flowers on the yellow side. While others picked the already colored birds on branches side. Faceted gems for the flower centers were a hit too.

Enjoy sharing your make-n-take and looking through the new catalog! If you need help with your shopping list, send me a message or click Shop Now on the right side of my blog. Thanks!
