Thank you for hopping around with us as we showcase spring themed paper crafting projects projects. You may have arrived from Lisa Kmiec’s blog and her fabulous project. My project is below.

The Petal Promenade designer series paper is so pretty with the fabulous photographic floral images. I paired it with shimmery white cardstock to amp up the wow factor. The pearlized doilie adds another layer of glimmer along with the silver metallic edge ribbon. The Ruffled embossing folder can be fully appreciated on the inside of the greeting card.

Create the rounded corners on the patterned paper by inserting the paper through the backside of the Pretty Label punch.

For different looks, change the sentiments, flip the 2×2 inch square of patterned paper and try out all the gem shapes.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop Poppin’ Birthday

54006210_10219309231906317_8038300571733590016_o

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! We are fans of this monthly crafting kit. Follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as designed, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild.

On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas on how to use the March Paper Pumpkin kit, Poppin’ Birthday, in alternate projects. You may have arrived from Charmane Hopkins’ blog. She had a great project!

Follow the photos below to see what I created. I started with the bonus numbers stamps by peeling back the protective plastic sheet. I inked 1-9 with Granny Apple Green ink. You can see the bottom row of stamps are uninked.

I centered the inked stamps on Granny Apple Green cardstock and pressed on the protective plastic sheet with my fingers to transfer the ink from the stamps to the paper.

Voila! A fun background!

3 26 19bloghop5-001

Add the streamers stamp along the edges to complete the background stamping. Use the included poppy parade ink spot to stamp the party hats around the gray striped paper that was cut from the kit contents.

3 26 19bloghop3-001

Add the sentiment on the die cut that was included in the kit. Decorate with the party hat and bow die cuts that were included in the kit.

Stampin’ Up! produces a fast time motion Youtube video to show kit assembly as intended for the visual learners out there, including me! Watch the video here:

Thank you for joining us as we share the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop over to June Olsen’s blog to see what she designed.

Ink, Stamp and Share Guy Cards

42535194_10156676672352208_1759988314120650752_n

Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators and me. This month, we are featuring projects created with guys in mind. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Tricia Butt’s blog and her fabulous project.

The Tranquil Textures designer series papers has a few options that look like water. I picked the pattern with a little purple so the fish could be accented with purple.

This card design was in the March Card Buffet line up. The supplies used to create the card were contained in a plastic tub lid and passed around the stamp table. Blender pens were used for coloring the fish. I wrap a piece of scrap paper around the cover at one end to indicate which pen should be used for which color. The pens won’t need to be “brushed out” of color until after the event. This might also save my ink pads from being accidentally dipped with the wrong color:)

Add assorted pastel Stampin’ Write markers to create fruity colored gummy bears. I also used the triple banner punch. See it way over on the bottom left? It’s the details that make a fabulous card!
