Welcome to the Embossing themed Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. This could be dry embossing, embossing powder or even embossing paste, it’s demonstrators’ choice! We are Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators showcasing our fabulous products on scrapbook pages. If you are on the hop trail, you may have arrived from Sharon Dalton’s blog. She had a great layout!

My project started with the skating snowpeeps from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set.

Glossy paper that was processed through the Big Shot with Swirls and Curls embossing folder creates photo mats on Balmy Blue cardstock. Add a flurry of glossy paper snowflakes created from the Winter Blizzard framelit throughout the layout.

Ink, Stamp and Share New Year Color Challenge

48366777_10156873956817208_6830466243800072192_n

Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators and me. This month, we are featuring a color challenge using the colors in the graphic. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Sandrine’s blog and her fabulous project.

I decided to continue with a winter theme by using Spirited Snowman and Beautiful Blizzard stamp sets.

12 22 18bloghop1-001

Negatives from using the Blizzard Thinlets die were collecting on my table. So I placed it over a 4×5.25 inch piece of daffodil delight cardstock that had been run through the Big Shot using the Subtles embossing folder. I sponged Pacific Point ink through the snowflakes.

and voila! a subtle snowflake print in the color challenge colors.

Paper Crafting Packaging Blog Hop

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring gift packaging. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from the United Kingdom and Sandra Robert’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The leftover custom designer series paper I created for this blog post was still on my table when I started to gather supplies for my project. So I grabbed by scoring tool and an acetate box to quickly create a custom belly band. The whisper white cardstock measures 4.5×11 inches with scoring at 4 1/2, 5 1/8, 9 5/8 and 10 1/4 inches as marked on the photo below. Use a strip of tear and tape to secure the band after wrapping around the acetate box.

The paper and ribbon belly band are not secured to the acetate box so the box can be reused for a different occasion. Use our epoxy dew drops and clear faceted gems generously since this box is intended to be hand delivered. The white flax ribbon is a new spring catalog product.

Christmas Card Blitz Day Two

This is the week to make and send holiday cards. Since I have swaps from attending demonstrator events, I thought I would do a Christmas Card Blitz to inspire you to create your own cards. Please note that I will give credit to the person that created the card if I know who it is. If you see your card without credit, please add a comment that it is your card!

ICS Blog Hop Christmas Cards Galore

Thank you for hopping around with us as we showcase Christmas Cards Galore. You may have arrived from Janey Backer’s blog and her fabulous project. My project is below.

I decided to create custom designer series paper using the Spirited Snowmen stamp set. I first stamped the skating snow peep in pacific point in the center of an 8.5×11 whisper white cardstock. Additional images were stamped in “triangles” around the center image.

12 5 18bloghop2-001

Next, “winter cheer” was stamped in blackberry bliss filling in the open spaces.

12 5 18bloghop3-001

Last, the snowflakes were stamped in pacific point ink to fill in…

12 5 18bloghop4-001

a fun little trio of images and colors…

12 5 18bloghop5-001

The sheet was cut to 4×5 inches. Then the blackberry bliss ink pad was applied directly to the edges to give an illusion of another layer. I wanted the Swirls and Curls embossing on the balmy blue card base to show through a little so did not want to add another paper layer. Decorated the envelope back too!

12 5 18bloghop6-001

Color the carrot nose with the pumpkin pie Stampin’ Write marker and add a frosted epoxy dew drop embellishment for the hat tassle….

All the supplies used…

12 5 18bloghop8-001

My design was inspired from a custom sheet that my sister Tricia created. The stamp set took 3 trips up the interstate before she completed the sheet. She plans to use the sheet to create a scrapbook page.

Please leave a comment and let me know how often you create your own custom designer series paper.

Thank you for hopping with us. Now click on the next image below to travel to Terri Takashige’s blog to see her fabulous project.
