Fall Fling Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Gathering

fallflingfbbanner-001

Would you like to enjoy a day with other Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, stamping fabulous projects, talking about the latest products and sharing business tips? Fall Fling is Saturday, September 15th, 9am-4:30pm in Sun Prairie. Sun Prairie is located about 10 minutes from the east side of Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

The morning activity is a shoebox swap. You design a card and then prepare card kits so that other demonstrators at the event stamp and assemble your kits. Everyone else prepares kits too. We pass the supplies used for assembling the kits in shoebox sized containers. Thus, it is called a shoebox swap.

Lunch is through a group Jimmy John’s order or bring your own. Link will be provided closer to the event date.

The afternoon activities include make-n-takes which you only need to provide your adhesives for and demonstrations which you get to sit back and watch.  The day ends with business talks.

Early bird registration closes on August 16th with all registration closing on August 23rd so we have enough time to prepare our projects.

Swaps are tracked through a Doodle poll. Click here to register your swaps.

Please click the Contact button above to request a registration form and to RSVP.

Thanks and hope to stamp with you then!

The Single Lady

Judy Arawinko did a nice job designing this hand stamped greeting card for our shoebox swap. She added the new glimmer enamel shapes to the inside, layered with pool party cardstock, sentiment. The single lady is first stamped on the card base and also stamped on the Delightful Daisy designer series paper. Her dress and hat are fussy cut from the dsp and popped up from the card base using new mini-dimensionals. The single lady is from the stamp set Beautiful You.

You are in luck because starting October 1st, select designer series paper is part of the buy 3, get 1 free sale and the Delightful Daisy dsp is part of the sale!

If you would like to place an order to take advantage of the sale, order on October 1st and please use host code VBM3YAGE. My online store is open 24/7 by clicking on these words. Thanks for your order!

A Harvest without all the sneezing

The temperature outside has been creeping up to 90 degrees for several days. I have been hibernating in my house but yesterday thought I would take advantage of the warmer day and started with the garden and yard clean up. Up went some of the tomatoes and the viney pumpkin and gourd plants that had already not liked the cooler overnight temperatures. I took into the house tomatoes and cucumbers I had missed plucking earlier in the week. Those cukes were good with some hummus for a light meal!

As I looked down on my shoes which had been increasingly covered in really rust pollen as I walked through the grass, I thought I would be happy to get inside for an afternoon with the Painted Harvest suite to cool off and enjoy a harvest that will not make me sneeze!

The Painted Harvest bundle includes the Painted Harvest stamp set and leaf punch that you can order at my online store here: click here for online store  The samples in the next few photos were created by home office staff and shared in our holiday catalog.

Painted Autumn designer series paper is part of the Painted Harvest suite. Which pattern is your favorite? Mine is the multi colored branches on the fair left. Multi colored patterns means instant pop without effort. Quick, easy and fabulous!
