bloghopbannerapril2018-001

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of Thinking of You projects with girls in mind. You may have arrived from Krissi Hannah’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The Dandy Garden Suite features the best product in the January to June catalog…the Dandy Laser Cut Papers! There are 2 sheets of laser cuts in a package. I used the top middle laser cut on my design today.

See how the laser cut dragonfly adds instant wow…

Mat the Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Soft Suede cardstock and add a Ladybug trinket as shown in the card are on the right. Or leave off the card for a simple stamping look.

My Youtube video shows how it came together…

Paper Crafting Blog Touch of Ink

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you showcasing exclusive, free products you can earn with qualifying orders. You may have arrived from Nancy’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I paired the Touch of Ink Sale-a-bration stamp set with the Forever Flowers pattern paper from the annual catalog.

I used a modified Rock n Roll technique to color the hummingbird. Ink the image in Crumb Cake. Then Rock n Roll Shaded Spruce on the belly and Night of Navy on the wings. Yep, ink is transferred to the acrylic block. Just wipe with a tissue to keep your fingers clean.

February Sugar Cookie Social Kits are in the Mail Today

Good Morning! I stuffed my mailbox today with packets of Sugar Cookie Social make and take kits. Good thing cardstock does not care if it’s negative degrees outside because it’s freezing out there! If you have placed a $50 or more order excluding shipping and tax this month, your kit is on the way. You can still place orders and I’ll ship the February packet to you promptly.

Meet me on Zoom, next Wednesday, February 24th, 9-10am or 6-7pm, to assemble the kits. I’ll include a Youtube link for kit assembly as well when I email the Zoom link.

Why do I call these session Sugar Cookie Socials? Click here for the story. Bring your tea, coffee and a sweet treat to share what you enjoy for refreshments. It’s fun to see differences in region and taste.

How do you get an invitation to join the social? Purchase at least $50 (excluding shipping and tax) using the host code listed on the right side of my blog (current code is EUNVSZHN). If your order is over $150, do not use a host code so you can spend all the host rewards yourself. Either method will earn you an invitation to join the social for that month and a snail mailed make and take packet from me. Order early in the month so there is time for me to prep your kits and for them to make the journey from my mail box to yours so you can join the Zoom call fun:)

The kits will change each month. I am revealing snippet of one of the kits below…I hope you like it!

Any questions? Click the Contact button on my blog to send me a note. Thank You!

Split Circle Technique

The split circle technique makes a quick and easy WOW design. Just remember to have contrasting colors for the circle layers. My design features the Snowflake Splendor pattern paper contrasted against the silver foil sheets.

Use the Stitched Shapes framelits for added interest. Metallic Mesh ribbon makes a nice bow. A row of silver Metallic Pearls adds the final details.

See my how to video from my Youtube channel here…click subscribe and the bell on my Youtube channel to be notified when new content is loaded.

Order all the products used in this project by clicking the Shop Now image on my blog or click on the product words to zoom to my online store. Thank you for your support and your order!
