Last Chance Ordering

Screen Shot 2017-05-27 at 8.20.05 AM

Hello There!

Our annual catalog sales period is almost at an end. Sigh…Tuesday, May 31st is the last day to order from this catalog. Retiring (and clearance rack) items are available while supplies last so I encourage you to order online and would like to reward you for doing so!

Please use hostess code U4DFR2J2 when placing your $50 or more order through my online store here. If your order is over $150, do not use the hostess code since I want you to spend all the stampin rewards.

Fine Print:

Orders must be placed by noon on May 31st through my online store. Look for my name in the upper right corner at my online store so you know you are ordering through me.

Orders must use hostess code U4DFR2J2. Exception is if orders are over $150 (see above).

Paper Pumpkin 1, 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions count the same as actual product orders!

You earn 6 sheets of designer series paper, a ribbon share or some other fabulous brand new product from my reward basket for every $50 in online orders.

We must see each other to pick out your reward. If you live too far away for a personal visit, then I will snail mail 6 sheets of DSP to you.

You can stop at my house to pick out your reward item and your brand new 2017-2018 catalog shortly after you place your order.

Happy Online Shoppin’ and have a nice weekend!

I am also considering rolling out an online ordering reward system so this past month has been a test for this program.

Scrabble and Hot Cross Buns

We hosted an Easter afternoon with Jim’s family on Sunday. Preparations included rounding up all the special dinner and service ware. The next house will have a built in glassware wall, yes, I typed WALL. I like to make tablescapes just like my Mom does.

We have a several generations of glassware from both sides of the families. China from  my Grandma G, serving ware that has been passed down, glasses from a sister (and we used all of them!).

Bunny butt treat bags ensured candy got taken out of the house but just as much candy stayed with us. Cotton tails were on the backsides of the bags.

My first hot cross buns turned out delicious. I’ll be substituting rye flour in my next batch and taste testing with my Dad. He misses the raisin rye from the Dunnsville bakery. I think this is a similar recipe.

My nephew Travis shares his brown eggs for fresh from the farm goodness. His eggs are the extra large brown ones. I dyed the others from store bought white eggs (don’t tell Travis!) with either pickled beet juice or spinach and red onion skin dyed water. Pretty!

Nancy brought a festive dessert. Nice ending to a home baked meal.

Our first Scrabble board. Started with KEG and ended with UR both relating to the beverage industry.

After another Scrabble game, our afternoon was up. Jim and I tidied up while our guests drove back to their homes. Thanks for visiting!

P.S. I did not take a photo of my plate with all the courses. We had honey glazed ham, green bean casserole, lettuce salad, twice baked potatoes, pickled beets, hot cross buns, regular buns and champagne. Yum!

It Takes a Stamping Village…

to bring fun paper crafting kits to share with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison guests. Each time I ask my stamping friends to help donate Paper Pumpkin kits to RMHC, stampers step up. This time, we were able to donate 13 kits!

4 14 2017 1-001

Faye Owen, Kay Messling, Tammy Muehlemann and Wendy Brantner made monetary donations so I could pay for full kits. Harriet donated stamps which I combined with refill kits and ink spots. Jeanne donated empty boxes to contain the kits I put together. I donate an acrylic block to mount the stamps on and deliver the kits to the Madison house.

Linda accepted the donations today and will make sure they are included in guest welcome bags.

What follows is a True Story! I was cleaning out my email inbox last week and so was my friend Lisa Kinning. She responded to my email asking for donations from…a year ago! She also donated a year ago and wanted to donate again. So I’ll have more kits to donate when I visit the house in April. Thanks Lisa for your generous donation, twice!

Would you like to donate Paper Pumpkin kits to Ronald McDonald House of Madison? Contact me and we will get it done! Thanks!

Valentine’s Made Easy

I needed to assemble lots of valentine’s party favors for my visits to senior living communities. The Adorning Arrows Paper Pumpkin comes to the rescue! Supplies for 24 boxes were included in this kit. Watch the quick How To video here:

Since February is a popular month for senior living visits, I needed quite a few more party favors so I went looking through my Paper Pumpkin past kit stash of leftover supplies and found what I needed to create the rest of the party favors.

Quick and cute! Stamped the verse on the die cut banner, stapled it and the candy to the die cut heart and done!

The next favor combined cone bags from last year’s Spring catalog with Sending Love designer series paper and bits from a few different products. The folded bag end adds another layer of interest.

Last favor was assembled almost as intended. The pink baker’s twine was suppose to be a bow but I decided to make it easy for me and used a length instead to add interest.

Paper Pumpkin is on sale during Sale-a-bration! Get the full details at my website under the Paper Pumpkin section. I love getting a monthly kit in my snail mail box that just needs stamping and assembly. You would too!

Happy Stampin!

Paper Pumpkin = Paper Crafting Kits for Kids

I asked my stamping friends to help with #givingtuesday by donating a Paper Pumpkin paper crafting kit to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. The kits arrived at my house later last week. I delivered them to RMHC of Madison after inserting an acrylic block.

img_6526

Paper Pumpkin is an all inclusive paper crafting kit that creates hand stamped greeting cards and party favors. Everything needed to create the projects are included the box: stamps, inks, papers cut and scored, die cuts or stickers and ribbons. Glue dots help make assembly easy for the newbies. The kits will be included in welcome bags so that children receiving care at the nearby hospitals can take it with them to the hospital or back home with them. Parents can get involved during creation time since photo instructions are included in the box too.

If you would like to get on the donor list, the cost is $20. I’ll cover the cost of the acrylic block and deliver the kits to the house. Thanks for donating!

Update: Wendy saw this post and is donating a kit! Thanks Wendy!
