Now for the real valentine’s treat…a heart shaped red velvet cake on Grandma’s red cake plate. Light pink heart meringue’s along with bubble gum flavored pearls and sprinkles complete the decadence. The layers of texture and shape make it pop, just like when designing a paper crafting project.

Pattern Paper…I always have a stack ready for creating fun projects with. The Symbols of Fortune suite features cranes in the stamp set and the pattern paper. One sheet is covered in instant create-a-scene images evoking serene cranes in the moonlight. So I thought, let’s pop a scene up by die cutting it using a shape from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and tucking some embellishments underneath to create a swag. Here is my design.
