Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are fans of this monthly crafting kit. Follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as designed, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild.

On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use this June Paper Pumpkin kit, Broadway Star. You may have arrived from Deb’s blog. She had a great project! Here is what I designed…

Party favors and small gift packaging are items I frequently use. It is easy to transform the supplies from a Paper Pumpkin kit from the original project to treat toppers and acetate box inserts.

Where is the color coordinating candy? I was thinking of fun stixs but Jim was the one that did the grocery shopping this week. Had I asked him to locate lemon lime twist colored fun stixs, you can imagine his response. So my 2×8 inch cello bags remain empty for now.

The Hooray card is inside an acetate card box. The card serves as fun decoration but is also functional since I will include an envelope for the card. About 5 cards with envelopes or small gifts like jewelry, chocolates or even lemon lime twist fun stixs can fit inside the box. 🙂

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin, now hop over to Karie’s blog to see what she designed.

This package of fun was snail mailed to my Super Awesome Team Members in preparation for our first online team meeting with make-n-takes! I am pretty excited to try this format. We will gather online through our team Facebook page for an hour this Sunday, April 29th, 2pm, CDT.

I’ll be assembling the make-n-takes along with my team members during a Facebook Live video. It will be interesting to see what stamps they use with the kits I sent them. Should be fun!

Would you like to join us? You need to be a member of my Super Awesome Stampers team to participate. I’ll do my best to get you a make-n-take packet before the meeting if you sign up to be a demonstrator on my team this week. Sign up is through my online website by clicking here. Make sure my name is in the upper right corner so you know you are signing up with me.

Stamp with you then!

Coffee Break Suite

I like coffee flavored foods but don’t drink coffee. It’s either water or kombucha for me and occasionally hot tea. I collect all of Stampin’ Up! coffee and tea stamps so the Coffee Cafe stamp set quickly made it’s trip from Utah to my stamp shelf.

I had a design session for a blog hop that will be posted tomorrow so decided to post the samples that did not make the cut for the hop the day before and after the hop. You will enjoy three designs over three days using Coffee Break for my efforts. The party favor posted tomorrow will also be the favor at this week’s Card Buffet. I hope you reserved a seat!

Today’s greeting card design had me fussy cutting coffee mugs and pots from the Coffee Break designer series paper. It was quick work with my super sharp Stampin’ Up! paper snips. I wanted to add depth that the fussy cutting would allow instead of using a straight edged cut piece.

Vellum creates the cup bubble topper which was cut using the Big Shot and the Coffee Cups framelits. I loaded the Big Shot platform to cut 5 pieces at once, the cup bubble topper, the straw, the cup that holds the sentiment, the trio of beans on the inside of the card and also the wee heart stirrer attached to the bottom left cup.

All of the straight edge papers are cut to an easy 4 inches making this a no scrap dsp generated design.
