Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects made with Stampin’ Up! products designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators. This hop spotlights the Occasions catalog. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Kirsten’s blog and her fabulous project. My hop design is below.

I decided to use the Painted with Love Specialty designer series paper (dsp) to create a party favor using the mini treat bag thinlets. The heavy weight dsp make it a good option to create 3-D items.

Close up of the belly band and the fab rich razzleberry heart and “enjoy” accents that were cut using the mini treat bag thinlet set. The gold foil strip is 1 inch wide cut from our 12×12 inch gold foil sheets. See the next photo for an economy gold foil bow tip.

There are gold accents on the opposite side of the polka dot print dsp that I used to decorate the narrow note card. I positioned the bow thinlet over the gold foil. Then realized I could cover up the bow hole with a rich razzleberry heart. No one will know but you and me:)

The Painted with Love dsp and the narrow note cards and envelopes are on page 19 of the Occasions catalog. A hot chocolate packet nicely fits inside the mini treat bag. I delivered these to staff this week at a senior living community I visit. They were tickled that I took the time to create these and hand deliver them with thanks for making it possible for me to visit the community.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop Painted with Love Specialty

I am excited to be a hop stop with the Scrapbooking Sunday crew. Our April theme is pastels. So I looked at my paper stash and found the Painted with Love Specialty designer series paper has powder pink accents. The finely woven powder pink ribbon has a bit of shimmer and is slightly stiff so will be nice and flat on the layout.

4 2018scrapbooksunday1-001

The Painted with Love dsp is heavier weight so it will hold up well when cut using the Bold Butterfly framelit.

4 2018scrapbooksunday2-001

2 page, 12×12 inch layout…just add photos and journaling!

4 2018scrapbooksunday3-001

Tuck a snippet of powder pink finely woven ribbon between 2 hearts cut using the Mini Treat Bag framelit. Mat them with gold foil paper.

4 2018scrapbooksunday4-001

A trio of hearts cut using the Wood Crate framelit anchors the bottom right of the layout. The smallest hearts in the upper left and the single hearts are cut using the Support Ribbon framelits.

The supplies used to create this layout plus 12×12 sheets of whisper white cardstock and gold foil paper and powder pink finely woven ribbon.

Hold on to Hope How To

I shared this card in a Spring and Easter blog hop yesterday. Today, I am sharing assembly tips and supplies used.

3 2018inkbloghop5-001

Rich Razzleberry cardstock cut to 3 1/8 x 5 1/2 inches forms a mat for the 3 x 5 inch Painted with Love dsp. Gold foil sheets cut to 1 x 3 inches and 1 1/2 x 3 inches form mats under the sentiment and cross respectively. A whisper white 1 3/8 inch circle accents the center of the cross.

The butterfly on the banner did now show up well in the above photo. Here is a close up showing that our mini-dimensionals are the perfect size to flutter this butterfly on the banner.

3 2018inkbloghop4-001

Make one pass through the Big Shot as shown in the photo below. Nest 2 of the crosses towards the bottom of a 3 x 5 1/2 inch Painted with Love Specialty designer series paper. Both crosses will be cut. I opted to assemble them nested as well. The piece of Painted with Love dsp that has the crosses cut from it is used as a layer on the card.

After passing through the Big Shot…3 2018inkbloghop8-001

Use the regular sized dimensionals to secure the nested crosses. Use glue dots to secure the powder pink shimmer ribbon and linen thread.

3 2018inkbloghop3-001

The inside is stamped with the same flower image that was stamped three times on the outside of the card too. A piece of 3 x 5.5 inch whisper white provides space for a personal message.

Ink and Share Blog Hop Hold on to Hope

Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects made with Stampin’ Up! products designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Kirsten’s blog. My hop design is below.

I am featuring the Hold on to Hope stamp set and framelits to create a hand stamped greeting card. The Painted with Love specialty designer series paper has gold accents so pairs well with blocks of gold foil sheets. I’ll be making several of these so they are ready for mailing as needed.

3 2018inkbloghop5-001

The dsp also has painted looking stripes of rich razzleberry and powder pink. So the mat is rich razzleberry attached to powder pink cardstock. Linen thread and powder pink shimmer ribbon encase the crosses.

The inside carries over the stamping on the right border with a whisper white liner to write a personal message.

With Sympathy CASEing the Blog Hop Design 12

It is nice to have sympathy cards on hand. This time I decided to make a custom card in the recipient’s favorite color, pink. I tried to include as much pink as there was on the swath from the Painted with Love specialty designer series paper. The dsp is the layer between the whisper white and blushing bride cardstock. I used our new mini dimensionals to pop up the whisper white layer to add a little ommph. It was too flat looking without that ommph.

1 15 2018 sympathycase3-001

The blushing bride card base looked a little bare so I stamped crosses so the tips could be seen towards the edges of the card. The inside is stamped too so I just need to address and sign the card.

Supplies used…the satin ribbon is retired.

I hope my card helps with the transition time.

This card was CASED from fellow demonstrator Sandy Ward and her Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop entry. I was actually inspired by the inside of her card. You can see her design by clicking here. I helped coordinate this Blog Hop. If you missed it, you can hop along here.

Thanks for stamping with me today,
