Parade of Swaps Post 1

Prepare to be inspired with over 50 designs posted in the coming weeks covering a wide variety of images, colors, techniques, shapes and themes. These designs were swaps from fellow demonstrators at the annual Fall Fling that I coordinate. Everyone did a fabulous job with their designs! I’ll give the demo credit that created the card if I have that information. If you see your design, add a comment about your card!

Thank you for hopping around with us as we share fall themed projects using our fabulous Stampin’ Up! products from the holiday catalog which goes lives today! You may have arrived from Janey Backer’s blog and her fabulous project. My project is below.

I settled on inking up my Gather Together stamp set with cajun craze ink for the maple leaf, sentiment and subtle background stamping. The Gathered Leaves dies perfectly cut the maple leaf. It’s popped up on a dimensional with linen thread behind. I quickly created this card at a family retreat for my sister so she could participate in our card swap. She did not have time to make a set of cards prior to the retreat. I still wanted her to go home with a set since she enjoys paper crafting just as much as me:)

The Gather Together stamp set has the roundish circle stamp for a subtle background effect.

Please leave a comment and let me know if you would use the maple leaf, pumpkins or both on your next stamping project!

Thank you for hopping with us. Now click on the next image below to travel to Judi Anderson’s blog to see her fabulous project.
