Good Morning Beautiful

As I write this post, Jim Brickman is playing his piano song “Good Morning Beautiful.” It’s a catchy tune that brings in a new day and amplifies the shining sun. I have lots on my schedule for today so need the extra peppy sun to help me through my day.

First up today is writing this post and officially declaring Christmas Holiday 2019 paper crafting done! All senior sessions have been held, neighbor cards have been delivered and greeting cards being sent near and far are on the postal trucks.

The volume of supplies I use around this time of year are fun numbers for me. This is just my best guess for the supplies used for the senior sessions as I tried to keep count while preparing supplies continually during the season.

I could probably make a 12 days of Christmas song out of it, maybe next year!

1000 red rhinestones

600 tied bows

420 holiday rhinestones

200 punched bows

46 rubber bands

36 sheets of designer series paper

28 packages of envelopes

24 packages of colored cardstock

6 packages of whisper white

5 packages Night Before Christmas paper

3 packages of glue dots

and lots of glue sticks!

I prepared 1114 kits for the seniors to assemble with all these supplies. That’s a lot of seniors I visited during the holiday season! Here is a sampling of the designs shared at the sessions.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop Gift Packaging

I hope you are enjoying our gift packaging themed Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Annette’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

My project looks likes a landscape card. Flip it open to reveal a pocket for a gift card, note or cash works too.

Supplies used…visualize the scallop circle replacing the blueberry bushel circle in the design. I mailed all of the styles away using the scallop circle before realizing I did not take a photo of it.

Parade of Swaps Post 19

My Mom designed this wintery card. She knew when she saw these products in the holiday catalog (page 44) that she wanted to add them to her collection.

She also knew that she was going to add laces. Our whisper white baker’s twine was the perfect diameter for this task. Item number 124262, 25 yards for $3.50. Mom can make as many laces as she likes!

Parade of Swaps Post 18

Thanks to everyone that placed an order yesterday and enjoyed free shipping from Stampin’ Up!

This is the second to last day of the Parade of Swaps post where I shard over 50 designs from swaps from fellow demonstrators at the annual Fall Fling that I coordinate.

Joyce Hall designed this card. Use the sentiment strip through the backside of the punch on one side to create a custom edge on any length of paper strip.
