Paper Pumpkin is for Family

Today is the last day to sign up to receive the April Kit!

Looking for fun projects the kids can do on their own or with minimal help from you? Paper Pumpkin is your answer! Kits are appropriate for all ages from early elementary school kids to working adults needing a little fun break to retired folks that are young at heart.

Paper Pumpkin is a paper crafting kit that is delivered directly to your mailbox. Give the kids the task of picking up the mail. They will be pleasantly surprised to find a box waiting for them towards the end of the third week of the month.

The April kit is focused around the idea of making connections with family. Watch the short video and keep your eyes peeled for a sneak peek of the design.

Here is the video for the March kit showing assembly in fast motion.

The project design is always a secret to help with the fun surprise. But, they have been giving clues as to what is in the box lately. So we know the April kit will be greeting card designs.

FAQ’s: Your first box comes with a clear acrylic block to mount the stamps on. Reuse the block with future kits so don’t throw it out! Boxes start shipping on the 11th of each month. So you have until the 10th of each month to order subscriptions or skip a month in your subscription. The deadline to sign up to receive the April kit is April 10th.

Here are the subscription prices. Purchase the 12 month option for the lowest price of about $22 per box, depending on the tax in your area.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Falling for Leaves

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring fall themed projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to reach into the piece stash to create a quick greeting card. The Detailed Leaves die cut and the negative around it are from the stash. When I first cut a leaf a few weeks ago from this piece of Nature’s Poem patterned paper, I discarded it because the colors were too bright. But upon looking at the colors today, these colors match the leaves that are outside of house right now. So the color combo was appealing for the design session today.

I highlighted the striped brown tones by backing the focal point on early espresso cardstock and stamping with early espresso ink.

I next highlighted the orange tones by grabbing the negative of a leaf die cut from a different patterned paper. This was backed with grapefruit grove cardstock and accented with grapefruit grove ribbon.

Halloween Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Cauldron Bubble and Toil and Trouble

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring Halloween projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Ginger Rabesa’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to use the Toil and Trouble designer series paper to the fullest potential. Most of the card is covered with it along with flipping over the witches hat piece to reveal the jumping frogs!

The Cauldron Bubble stamp set was used for the sentiments. Happy Halloween and a sitting frog are stamped inside. A witches hat was cut around the sentiment after it was stamped using the Cauldron framelits. A little bit of black baker’s twine provides interest along with gorgeous grape matting and cardstock.

Pet Themed Blog Hop with Bella and Friends

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring projects that are pet themed. Any pet and any type of paper crafting project is allowed this month. Even scrapbooking of dust bunnies was allowed:)

Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Elizabeth Green’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The stamp set Bella and Friends was an immediate purchase for me when it became available. I add all the doggy themed stamps to my collection. When I become a million dollar sales achiever, I would design a doggy suite to include fun designer series paper. That sales amount is a long way off but it is good to have these details planned when the goal is achieved;)

So you guessed it, I used the stamp set Bella and Friends on my hand stamped greeting card.

The embossing folder is Scattered Sequins. Tranquil Textures is the designer series paper. A sponge dauber was used to color the doggy and add the shadow on the ground. The rest of the coloring is done with our Stampin’ Write markers.

Here are the supplies used to create this card…
