12 Dies of Christmas

I am excited to announce my next offering for Kits in the Mail! It’s the 12 Dies of Christmas with each of the 12 kits featuring a different die cutting and coordinating stamp set from the annual or fall catalogs. The how to videos will be shared via Youtube links. So you can work at your own pace, savoring each kit for a once a day treat or having a marathon crafting session.

Included are 2 Zoom Open Houses on Friday, December 18th, 9:30-11am and 6:30-8pm. Stop in to share what you have created with your kits. Chat with other paper crafters across the USA. See a stamping demonstration too.

This will be somewhat of a mystery stamping experience for you. I am keeping the designs a secret, hoping you like the surprises I carefully tuck in your kits. Maybe this is your new stamping experience for the month?

You will need your own stamp sets, die sets, ink pads and adhesives to complete the kits. I will be including large pieces of papers to be used on the stamped and die cut pieces because most dies need stamping and then die cutting for a perfect look. Per Stampin’ Up! policy, stamped images can not be included in kits. The large sheets of papers are being included in case you don’t have exactly the dies I am using in a design. Hopefully you have something similar. In addition, ribbons and embellishments will be generous so you will probably have extra to use on additional projects.

At the time of writing this blog post, I am planning on using the following dies and coordinating stamp sets:

Celebration Labels dies and Celebration Tidings stamp set

Dino dies and Dino Days stamp set

Forever Flourishing dies and Forever Fern stamp set

Gathered Leaves dies and Gather Together stamp set

Halloween Magic dies and Hallows Night Magic stamp set

In the Woods dies and Winter Woods stamp set

Love You More Than dies and Nothing’s Better Than stamp set

Nature’s Roots dies and Rooted in Nature stamp set

Pets dies and Pampered Pets stamp set

Stitched Leaves dies and Love of Leaves stamp set

Sunflower dies and Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set

World Map dies and Beautiful World stamp set

Your 12 Dies of Christmas Kits in the Mail Box includes: 12 paper crafting kits, 12 Youtube assembly videos, 2 Zoom Rooms and USPS priority rate shipping.

Orders can be placed by clicking the Contact button at the top of my blog and requesting the 12 Dies of Christmas Kits in the Mail Box. I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring gift packaging. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from the United Kingdom and Sandra Robert’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The leftover custom designer series paper I created for this blog post was still on my table when I started to gather supplies for my project. So I grabbed by scoring tool and an acetate box to quickly create a custom belly band. The whisper white cardstock measures 4.5×11 inches with scoring at 4 1/2, 5 1/8, 9 5/8 and 10 1/4 inches as marked on the photo below. Use a strip of tear and tape to secure the band after wrapping around the acetate box.

The paper and ribbon belly band are not secured to the acetate box so the box can be reused for a different occasion. Use our epoxy dew drops and clear faceted gems generously since this box is intended to be hand delivered. The white flax ribbon is a new spring catalog product.

Happy Birthday Aunt Dollie!

My Mom’s sister celebrated 80 years of good living with a surprise party at her favorite neice’s house. Aunt Dollie likes to color images for focal points on her greeting cards. Since I have stacks of stamp sets, I decided to stamp 80 images that she can color to her hearts content.

There are 2 of each image stamped with Memento ink pad, a mix of retired and current images. If she does not like the color combination she picked for the first image, she can change up the colors for the second image.

I used a card exchange card and color coordinated with a Paper Pumpkin box to gift the images in. A simple and complete package that was quick to assemble.

Grapefruit Grove Tiny Treat Box

Yesterday I participated in a New In Colors blog hop. I created this tiny treat box during the design session for the blog hop. Then decided it was too many photos to share on the hop. So today I am sharing the how to photos for the tiny treat box.

The top of the box has a grapefruit grove butterfly cut using the Springtime Impressions thinlet. The butterfly needed a resting place. So a 1 1/2 inch circle punched whisper white circle was attached to the box using a dimensional. Our new Faceted Dots in 3 sizes create a 3-D body.

The polka dot tulle ribbon was attached with tear n tape to the grapefruit grove belly band.

5252018bloghop7-001

Create a 1 x 8 1/2 inch belly band by scoring it for easy wrap around.

5252018bloghop4-001

Use tear n tape to adhere the belly band to the box.
