Demonstrators from the Madison area will be gathering at Fall Fling 2019 on September 21st in Sun Prairie. Would you like to join us?

The morning activity is a shoebox swap where you create kits for others to assemble and they do the same for you. The afternoon activity is make-n-takes followed by business talks.

All supplies demonstrated, shown and shared during the event must be current Stampin’ Up! products from the annual 2019-2020 catalog or holiday 2019 catalog.

Fall Fling Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Gathering

Would you like to enjoy a day with other Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, stamping fabulous projects, talking about the latest products and sharing business tips? Fall Fling is Saturday, September 15th, 9am-4:30pm in Sun Prairie. Sun Prairie is located about 10 minutes from the east side of Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

The morning activity is a shoebox swap. You design a card and then prepare card kits so that other demonstrators at the event stamp and assemble your kits. Everyone else prepares kits too. We pass the supplies used for assembling the kits in shoebox sized containers. Thus, it is called a shoebox swap.

Lunch is through a group Jimmy John’s order or bring your own. Link will be provided closer to the event date.

The afternoon activities include make-n-takes which you only need to provide your adhesives for and demonstrations which you get to sit back and watch. The day ends with business talks.

Early bird registration closes on August 16th with all registration closing on August 23rd so we have enough time to prepare our projects.

Last One from Fall Fling

I will Let it Snow on this card as long as it is not snowing outside! We have gotten wintery weather around Halloween in my part of the country in the past. Winter can hold off a little longer since I prefer 72 degree weather. And I have not taken down the vegetable garden or started yard clean up yet.

Kay Messling did a nice job designing this card using the Merry Music designer series paper package. The snow scene is from a stamp in the set Merry Little Labels. Kay looks for stamp sets that have coordinating punches for ease of use. This image coordinates with the Everyday Label punch and has 4 more images in the stamp set that coordinate with this punch as well. Thanks for sharing this card Kay!

Last holiday card assembled from Fall Fling

I just assembled the last card from our all demonstrator Fall Fling shoebox swap and it is a pretty one! Jamie Statz-Paynter designed this card using a non-winterish designer series paper. Can you guess which one is used?

It is the Delightful Daisy package, the third sheet from the left. Pretty neat that our geometric patterns can be used for a variety of themes.

Christmas Cards

Christmas card inspiration is here! I know it is not Halloween yet but for those of us that make a stack of Christmas card, we are already dreaming up designs and preparing supplies.

These cards were designed by fellow demonstrators for our Fall Fling.

Kay Messling is on trend using touches of basic black paired with glimmery gold.

Lynn Schwiebert designed this card which reminds me of Sherlock Holmes days (before Benedict Cumberbatch was Sherlock).

Linda Hartwich designed this card to Deck the Halls!

Norma Artman gave the quick tip that our tombo liquid glue is needed to adhere anything to our glimmer paper and she is right! It took me actually using the glue to adhere the layers for me to learn this tip. Thanks Norma for the tip!
