Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators and me. This month, we are featuring projects created with guys in mind. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Tricia Butt’s blog and her fabulous project.

The Tranquil Textures designer series papers has a few options that look like water. I picked the pattern with a little purple so the fish could be accented with purple.

This card design was in the March Card Buffet line up. The supplies used to create the card were contained in a plastic tub lid and passed around the stamp table. Blender pens were used for coloring the fish. I wrap a piece of scrap paper around the cover at one end to indicate which pen should be used for which color. The pens won’t need to be “brushed out” of color until after the event. This might also save my ink pads from being accidentally dipped with the wrong color:)

Daisy Jar Class

It’s a design day in the stamp room today. I won’t be taking out the garbage until all the supplies are put back in their cases:) Yes, I am down to working with 2 inches of clear desk space and stamps are teetering in stacks.
The designs are for the August Card Buffet and Daisy Jar class.  The Daisy Jar is below. Note that the foliage is fresh cut from the lilacs that had a few flowers opening!

All supplies are included in the Daisy Jar class, except the lilac foliage although we could send you home with a bunch:) The Daisy Jar class is by prepay only since you will go home with a new daisy punch and whatever you don’t use from your package of faceted gems. Cost is $35 and is due to me by August 1st so I can order the supplies.
The Card Buffet is 10 cards with envelopes for $20, you provide your adhesives. You are welcome to attend the buffet and then start on your jar when you are finished with the buffet. RSVP for the buffet is by Wednesday, August 8th, 8pm.
The Daisy Jar class and Card Buffet will be offered on Friday, August 10th, 5:30-8pm and Saturday, August 11th, 1-3:30pm. I have added 30 minutes to the session in case you want to make the jar and do the buffet.
RSVP by clicking Contact above and let me know if you want to attend the Daisy Jar class or Card Buffet or both. Pay for both events at the same time and receive an extra card kit at the buffet.

Hope you can join me for some stamping fun in August!

Painted Harvest framed with Stitched Shapes

10 27 2017sunflowerbirthday-001

The Painted Harvest stamp set makes creating multi colored flowers with depth easy with the 2 step stamps. The stitched shapes framelits layered in very vanilla and calypso coral make the flower the focal point. Our burlap ribbon and a bow bring the eye to the sentiment and invite the reader to open the greeting card where the layered leaves embossing can be really appreciated.

Here are samples created by home office concept artists.
