Build It Framelits in Basic Gray

Last of day of sharing projects that I created as a display stamper for Stampin’ Up!’s Madison convention in November. We were asked to create 15 projects so I decided to split them up using three different accent colors. Today’s accent color is basic gray. I used an ancient technique we learned so long ago…creating our own designer series paper using inks and rubber stamps! The patterns on the very vanilla paper were all hand stamped by me using the Nailed It stamp set and delightful dijon and basic gray inks.

Both smiley face stamps are part of the Nailed It stamp set. There is a frowny face too 😦

Our kraft tag a bag gift bags make quick gift card holders. Hmmm…I’ll try to get a video posted on that. The cello bag with the visa card inside is our medium clear envelopes. Neat alternate uses for both products!

We will be back to holiday cards in the next post! See you then!

Stamp set is the new Urban District on page 47 of the spring Occasions catalog. I also used the Urban Underground Embellishments. The Build It framelit was used to create the ruler outline in the photo directly above. Let me know if you need help identifying the regular catalog products which you can order through my online store.

One more day of Urban Underground Suite ideas and then we return to Christmas holiday cards!

Build It Framelits in Real Red

I was chosen as a display stamper for Madison’s Onstage Stampin’ Up! convention in November! I was not allowed to share what I created to show at convention until after all demonstrators were allowed to preorder these products. So here is what I created using the Urban Underground Suite!

Build It Framelits are new as well as the coordinating stamp set Nailed It. Both are on page 48 of the spring Occasions catalog. See the fun hexagon embossing? Create the same deep etching using the hexagons dynamic textured impressions embossing folder on page 47 of the spring Occasions catalog. I just received my shipment of these catalogs along with the Sale-a-bration brochure! Let me know when you can stop by to pick up your copy!

Papers used on these projects are real red, delightful dijon and very vanilla cardstock. Serene Scenery is the designer series paper. Real red is the ink. Ribbon is delightful dijon mini striped measuring 5/8 inch wide. The gift card envelope and trims thinlits were used to create the unique tag shapes and the photo mat on the scrapbook page, the real red layer on the card, the flap layer on the star party favor and also the nailed it gift card holder. The only project I did not use this thinlit was the petite cafe bag!

It was fun to receive a bundle of supplies to create with and then share the projects with my stamping friends at convention. Check back tomorrow for another suite of projects.
