Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators and me. This month, we are featuring projects created using Sale-a-bration 2019 products. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from     Tricia Butt’s blog and her fabulous project.

I decided to do a custom fold over revealing the sentiment and sequin. Just fold back once, bone fold along the edge, then fold back to create a flap for the bow. See the piece hanging off the end along the left side? Fold that around the card and secure with a glue dot.

All the supplies used…interchange the flower adhesive backed sequins with the circle sequins. They are an easy embellishment to use! Use the paper piercing tool to position the sequins on your project.

Sale-a-bration 2019 Paper Crafting Blog Hop

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring Sale-a-bration 2019 products. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Anastasia Radloff’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to make it easy on myself and use the fabulous Botanical Butterfly designer series paper as the focal point on the hand stamped greeting card. There are lots of already colored butterflies in large and medium sizes on this sheet. Just use a Stampin’ Up! paper snips to cut around the wings and voila! Instant beauty!

Stamp a flourish from the Falling Flowers stamp set and “a little note” from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in balmy blue ink. Use a sponge dauber to highlight the berries in grapefruit grove ink. Change out the inks and cardstock layers to match the colors of the butterfly for cheerful cards.

After I created this post, I thought the card could use a few extra touches. So I swabbed Wink of Stella on the butterfly and embossed the highland heather layer using the Dot to Dot embossing folder.

All the supplies used…plus the Wink of Stella and the Dot to Dot embossing folder. The Faceted Dots name in English was cut off when I sized the photo. Now you know how to say it in a few other languages too:)

Mini Blog Hop

Today features a mini Blog Hop! Tracy and I are doing a test run of linking our posts. So this hop is just 2 stops. Quick and fun so you can spend a little time in your stamp room recreating our projects:)

My hand stamped greeting card features Blackberry Bliss cardstock and ink which is a rich, dark purple. Daffodil delight and whisper white cardstock add contrast to the blackberry bliss. Snippets of organdy ribbon from the Sale-a-bration combo pack provide a soft look reminiscent of luscious frosting.

These are all the supplies I used to create the card. I wanted to show that the Lemon Lime Twist patterned piece has a black and white butterfly print on the opposite side. These 2 prints are my least favorite in the Sale-a-bration Botanical Butterfly DSP package because they are monochromatic. That just means we need to add our own flair to the prints:) The “sprinkles” stamp was inked using blackberry bliss ink and added to the edges of the lemon lime twist paper for my flair.

Add a comment and let me know what pattern is your favorite from the Botanical Butterfly designer series paper pack.
