Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring summer themed projects made with Stampin’ Up! products designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Cindy’s blog and her fabulous project. My hop design is below.

I created this greeting card on the Summer Solstice while it was raining outside. Sunny days are surely ahead, at least in someone’s mailbox anyway!

I used the largest Stitched Shapes oval framelit to cap the top of the focal point to mimic the banner shape in the stamp. I used about a third along the longest side of the framelit to create the cap.

Stampin’ n write markers were used to color the images. Whisper white thick cardstock was run through the Big Shot using the ruffled embossing folder to create a little interest. Mats in flirty flamingo and daffodil delight cardstock complete a pink lemonade look.

All the supplies used…The birds were singing by the time I finished writing this post so maybe the rain will give away to a sunny day!

Patriotic Blog Hop

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring projects that are patriotic to the country the demonstrator lives in. Fellow demonstrators from all over the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sandra Robert’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

It’s strawberry season in my area. I have not picked any berries yet and missed the opportunity to purchase from a local stand while up north this weekend. If you are reading this while enjoying some berries from your local stand, add a comment about your picking, preserving and eating adventures!

Since strawberries have one of the colors that is considered patriotic to my country, I thought a strawberry card would be a unique twist for our patriotic themed blog hop. Red, white and blue are considered patriotic colors for my country in the United States of America.

The banner was created using our triple banner punch. The top of the banner needed a little something so the real red piece that was cut off using the punch was attached to the top of the banner.

Stampin’ Up!’s new annual catalog is live! It is 241 pages of inspiration goodness. Cynthia McQueen did a great job with creating a fabulous project featuring the new 2018-2020 In Colors as revealed below.

I opted to use Grapefruit Grove cardstock and whisper white for a summery look on this hand stamped greeting card. The new polka dot tulle ribbon has slightly raised, fuzzy whisper white dots which add to the summery look.

I used the Big Shot brush to remove the pieces from the intricate Springtime Impressions thinlet.

See the inside of the single flower? The smallest size of our new Faceted Dots fits perfectly in the center of the single flower.

Ink and Share Blog Hop Sneak Peek

28059369_10155813494401140_2143749391452299936_n

Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects made with Stampin’ Up! products designed by fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators. This hop features a sneak peek at the new 2018-2019 annual catalog. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Kirsten’s blog and her fabulous project. My hop design is below.

I decided to pair 3 new products to decorate the returning silver gable boxes. These boxes arrived already cut and scored for easy popping up and decorating. I decorated both sides of the box as shown below.

5262018bloghop1-0015262018bloghop2-001

The new products are the Springtime Impressions Thinlets, Garden Impressions designer series paper and polka dot tulle ribbon. The ribbon was wrapped around the box to make a belly band. The ribbon dots are slightly raised and soft feeling. My favorite new product so far!

I wanted the butterfly to flutter so decided to trace around the thinlet with a pencil on whisper white cardstock and used paper snips to cut it out. The butterfly thinlet was cut out fully on the Garden Impression dsp and adhered to the whisper white cut out with a few glue dots down the center of the butterfly so the wings are free to flutter.

5262018bloghop5-001

I also traced around the “for you” sentiment from the Wood Words stamp set using the flower thinlet from the Springtime Impressions Thinlet set. The “for you” was attached to the daffodil delight gift note that can be tucked inside the box for a complete gift package.

Happy Father’s Day Blog Hop

I hope you are enjoying our Father’s Day themed blog hop. I’m hopping with fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. You may have arrived from Karie’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to use Seaside Shore and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and lots of ink pads! I wanted to create a colorful under the sea scene.

5 2018odbloghop3-001

Here is what all those ink pads created plus a little sponging with bermuda bay ink…

Supplies used included the Happy Father’s Day stamp from the soon to be retiring Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The mini ship’s wheel and anchor stamps were from the Paper Pumpkin You Are My Anchor kit. The stamp set Seaside Shore was the third set that had all the clear mount stamps used on the card.
