Book Binder Hand Stamped Greeting Card Design

About every other month, global Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gather to a private Facebook group so that we can share demonstrations with our customers. The last time we had an event, I shared the book binder design to create a hand stamped greeting card. Here is my design using the Blackberry Beauty suite.

The area under the Gold Shimmer ribbon is the book binder part that creates a book like spine.

The inside panel holds a sentiment on one side and a personal message on the other.

Here is the how to video with measurements listed in the video description.

I really like this design because a personal message is on one side and a stamped sentiment is on the other. Or pick any combination of personal or stamped sentiments that suit you.

Our next event is coming up quick! Send me a message by clicking the Contact button above and ask to join the group if you are a customer of mine. Sorry, demonstrators that are not presenting are not granted access to the group. But I can invite those demonstrators that are in my Super Awesome Downline, a great perk for being on my demonstrator team!

Thanks for stamping with me!

Pinwheel Tower Bonus Tutorial Coming Soon

I pick up my Pinwheel Tower card samples from my October Kit of the Month offering and keep spinning them. They are so fun! Never know what’s on the next panel, I have a short memory;)

Several of my global demonstrator friends have also recently made their own versions. It got me thinking that it would be nice to collate all the samples into one document. Eleven other demonstrators thought it would be a good idea too and signed up to contribute. I’ll be sharing the pdf file via email later this weekend with those that ordered my Pinwheel Tower kits as a bonus thank you for ordering kits from me.

Here is a sneak peek at my design using the Blackberry Beauty Suite. I’ll reveal the rest of the panels in the tutorial.

Sample photos are still being added to the document and are fabulous so far. It’s a colorful collection for sure! I can’t wait to share it with you!

Ghostly Halloween Kitty…Boo to You!

I decided to not invest in Halloween themed paper crafting options this year. Shocker, I know:0 We love Halloween (that’s me, my Mom and my sister Wendy). But I knew I would not have time to play with the items this year. So I instead looked around at what I had on hand to create a spooky card.

When I saw the Blackberry Beauty designer series paper in the catalog, I immediately thought this paper pack included 2 potential Halloween prints. Getting a package in my hand confirmed I have a good eye;) It was a fun challenge for me to use these prints and the Cat Punch to make a spooky Halloween black ghost cat.

I made 12 of these cards and have the twig looking paper left to make a few more. The Chalk Marker makes the spooky white eyes…

Here is a video showing how I created this hand stamped greeting card.

Order supplies to make this card through my online store here or click the product links below.
