My Youtube channel is gaining more original content. Yesterday, I increased viewable videos by 14 all at once! I am part of an international Vlog Hop with 14 stops around the around. I showcased the stamp set Healing Hugs. Watch me create with my 2 favorite tones, purple and tans with textures in the video below.
After watching my video, click on “Youtube” in the bottom right corner of my video to view the other hop stops through links in my video description. Lots to keep you company this weekend!

My new Stamparatus got a work out today. The pile of cardstock in the corner was all stamped with the row of hearts from the new Heart Happiness stamp set. Each row was perfectly positioned in a straight line since I used the Stamparatus. Had I been just eyeballing the stamp placement, I would have had many rows slightly off. Since I like my straight lines straight, this is the perfect tool to keep straight lines straight.
I did a short Facebook live sharing how I used it to stamp the stack with the heart row. Search for Super Awesome Stamper Shirley Merker in Facebook to find my business page where the live video is posted.
You have until 11:50pm mountain time on Saturday, December 30th to reserve your Stamparatus. It will debut in the new annual catalog the summer of 2018 so if you want a Stamparatus before then, you must reserve one! Please go to my online store here to make your reservation. You will need to enter your credit card number but your credit card will not be charged until it ships. You will get an email notification when it is ready to add your online shopping cart. At that point, you can add other items to your shopping cart as well before checking out. Estimated shipping is March 19, 2018 but that depends on where you are in the reservation system.
I plan to share another Facebook live when I get to my next project that needs perfect placement and multiple stamping. So be on the watch for that!
In the meantime, here is the Youtube video that Stampin’ Up! has published sharing 5 Things to Know About the Stamparatus.
Make your reservation now! You have until December 30th, 11:50pm MT to reserve yours! Thanks for stopping by!
The wagon load in this stamp set needs lots of color. Using the direct to marker technique, also known as huffing, is how this look is achieved. The wagon, load and garden stake are perfectly cut out with the Garden Grown coordinating framelit set. Watch my how to video here:
A home office concept artist created the flower pot party favor box in the photo below. Shown also is the stamp set and coordinating framelits. Bundle pricing is available if you would like to add both products to your stash. Stamp set is available in wood or clear mount at my online store here.Current host code is VTN9R4DX to be used for your online order that is under $150.
This is the view right outside the craft room at Cattail Retreat. Peaceful with lots of fall color. The pond changes as the day passes and as the breeze carries nature across the surface. Rain gently fell on a different day creating interesting ripples. It was nice to watch it all from our cozy craft room.
The main event at retreat is whatever craft projects you can manage to bring all the parts to:) I bring my computer for when I run out of projects because I can edit Youtube videos and create blog posts. I edited the video for this DIY stationary to include the quilted snack table covering as the background on my photo.
Click on the Youtube video for how to create the stationary.
The video editing job is done! So I could move on to my next project; sorting card kits. More on that in the Scene 2 blog post for tomorrow. So check back then!
