Card Buffet Kits in the Mail

blogcardbuffetbymail-001Staying Safer at Home means that in person Card Buffet events are on hold. Instead, I would like to offer Kits in the Mail to keep us all stamping.

Each package will contain 5 different designs. Substitutions of designer series papers, ribbons and embellishments may be made within a design. So you might not get exactly the same pieces in all the kits.

Each kit will have the papers cut according to the sample, embossed if needed, punch shapes included, die cuts ready for assembly and ribbons cut to length. A list of stamp sets used in the samples will be provided. Kits will not contain any stamped images.

I am working on designs and hope to have them posted by Tuesday, April 14th. The designs will be available for order through April 30th.

Cost is based on the number of cards in the kit:

10 cards with envelopes, 2 each of 5 designs is $20

20 cards with envelopes, 4 each of 5 designs is $35

40 cards with envelopes, 8 each of 5 designs is $60

Pricing above is for Porch Pick Ups from my house if you are local to me in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Priority Rate USPS shipping is additional and based on the quantity ordered.

Welcome to the Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. We are Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators showcasing our fabulous products on scrapbook pages. Anything in the current annual or holiday catalogs can be used to create our layouts. If you are on the hop trail, you may have arrived from Sue McDonald’s blog. She had a great layout!

I decided to create a vintage layout using cherry cobbler paper and ink. The copper foil accents and mats coordinate beautifully with the cherry cobbler color.

Supplies used plus the lace dynamic textured embossing folder. Also used a stamping sponge around the edges of the whisper white paper to create a vintage look.

If you want to see the matching greeting card in a different post, click here. I created the card first. Then got the idea to enlarge the design for a scrapbook layout.

Did you know that we sell 12×12 inch solid color scrapbooking papers? It’s sold in assorted color packages which makes it nicely packaged for your scrapbooking needs. A few sheets of each color are included in a package. Plus our designer series papers are (mostly) sold in the 12×12 inch size as well.

There are about 24 hours left to RSVP to attend the January paper crafting sessions. Session times are Wednesday, January 15th, 9-11am or Saturday, January 18th, 1-3pm in Sun Prairie. RSVP closes on January 10th.

Card Buffet stampers create 10 hand stamped greeting cards with all supplies cut according to the samples provided and tucked into the envelopes. You pick which designs to create and how many of each design from a buffet of options. Cost is $20 to enjoy all this fun!

Adhesives are $5 extra for card making or bring your own. I’ll have new packages of glue dots, dimensionals, liquid glue, tear n tape and SNAIL for sale as well.

Optional: There will be one, 2 page 12×12 inch scrapbook layout in the line up as well. It’s $10 per layout or $5 if you are a member of my Super Awesome Stampers Team or if you place an order online using the host code on the right side of my blog or place an order during the event. You provide your own adhesives for assembling the layout.

You are welcome to bring friends! A new friend that has not stamped with me before earns you an extra card kit. If you are a member of my Super Awesome Stampers team, you get an extra kit too.

Please invite your friends! I reserve the right to cancel the session if less than 3 stampers RSVP.

A nice perk of working for myself is that I set my own working hours. As everyone else is recovering from holiday festivities, I can work on the computer typing blog posts, sending messages, checking the demonstrator website for current updates and team progress. Taxes are on the list for next week! Yes, the work life of sharing paper crafting also involves the non-glamorous business tasks.

Pouring over the Spring catalog and Sale-a-bration brochures while enjoying afternoon refreshments of #NessAlla kombucha, #BuchananHollowNutCompany pistachios and #EauGalleCheeses is a nice break from business tasks. Did you receive your copies in your snail mail box? If not, you can arrange to pick up a copy from me or take one with you when you attend the January Card Buffet.

My last work task today is advertising the in-person January paper crafting events.
