Paper Crafting Blog Hop Season Where You Live

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the globe. We have a wide array of Season Where You Live designs. You may have arrived from Annette’s blog. Hop all the way around until you get back to me so you see it all!

It’s Pumpkin Spice season where I live. Frosting warning was last night as it got down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I paired the Halloween Spells patterned paper with a Pumpkin Pie piece of cardstock that was embossed using the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder and the More Than Autumn stamp and die bundle to create a Pumpkin Spice inspired greeting card.

A Paper Snips Scissors was used to cut the words Pumpkin Spice from Basic White scrap paper.

Thanks for hopping with us each month. Now click here to hop to Terri Stewart’s blog to see what fun project she has created.

My Pampered Chef Party is open through October 16, 2024 Would you like to order?

Hello Stampers! It’s not often that I order from Pampered Chef because their products are that good and last a very long time if used and stored properly. My spatulas needed replacing because they have been shoved in the overfilled utensil drawer all these years (seriously it’s been more than 24 years since I purchased these prior to moving to our current house). Ok, so those old spatulas I’ll probably still use for tomato based dishes and my new ones will be stored in my baking drawer which is more roomy and full of sprinkle containers 😉

I contacted LouAnn Stewart to open an online party for me. I worked with LouAnn years ago at the More 4 grocery store deli in Durand, WI while I was putting myself through college. Lots of broasted chicken, jojos and Lush desserts were prepared in that deli! Oh and clean up too since I was on the night shift 😉 LouAnn also donates gift baskets to the Pepin County Humane Society fundraisers and I so appreciate her doing that.

So if you need to replace or add to your Pampered Chef collection, I have an online ordering link which is active through October 16, 2024. Here is the link: https://www.pamperedchef.com/party/shirleymerker1008

Need a little help deciding what to purchase? Here are the sale and customer gift flyers…

I can also recommend the stoneware. I have a pizza stone which is used for biscuits, flatbreads and pizza too. I use the rimmed stoneware to make my own version of the deli jojos while baking fish and vegetables too for a complete, easy, oven meal.

Here is my ordering link again. Your order ships directly to you with no waiting for my party to close before it ships. https://www.pamperedchef.com/party/shirleymerker1008

Every order receives a hand stamped thank you card from me! Will I mail you a pumpkin spice or Halloweeny card…you will just have to wait patiently by your snail mailbox to find out which design I share with you! Thank you so much for ordering using my Pampered Chef party code!

Honey Harvest 2024 So Sweet!

Honey Harvest 2024 is here and it’s oh so sweet! Spooky too, boo!

The process started on Saturday with a (hot) afternoon in the bee suit pulling from Gnome Sweet Gnome and Greenie Hives.

Sunday was extraction day…photos show a full frame of capped honey and then upcapped and ready to be placed in the centrifuge. Yes, it’s all manual labor using the uncapping fork shown at the bottom of the photo.

After centrifuging, the honey is sieved to remove any wax parts that were centrifuged with the honey.

My bees and hives are treatment free and never fed sugar water so you are getting the best nature has to offer! They roam the rural, Arkansaw, WI woodlands gathering nectar, pollen and tree sap to maintain their health and keep the hive humming.

Final product is so pretty! And Halloweeny too 😉

Three jar sizes are available…photo props not included 😉 Those are my wool applique spooky night scene for Halloween…

Glass canning jars hold all the goodness for the upcoming winter season and beyond.

A teaspoon a day in hot tea, over ice cream or added to oatmeal adds a little sweetness to your day!

Available in:

10 oz/283 grams is $10 (half pint jar) and perfect to nestle into gift baskets!

22 oz/624 grams is $22 (pint jar) and gets you through to January!

45 oz/1275 grams is $45 (quart jar) and brings you into spring!

Porch pick up from my house in Sun Prairie, WI or delivery in the Durand, WI area during Halloween week. Make a drive to the Arkansaw, WI, countryside where the bees live and pick up at the end of the driveway available too. Please click the Contact button my blog and let me know which city and appointment time works for you. Thank you so much for supporting my bee buzziness!

P.S. See the bees on my Youtube channel here! This is a link to the honey frame pull from last year as I have been busy getting the honey ready for you the last few days. I’ll be posting 2024 videos in the upcoming months as the gardens shut down and I spend more time indoors. Thanks again!

Host Code has changed and has a spooky background!

I have been having fun with creating my host code graphics. The October graphic is my favorite so far! I love Halloween because it was vibrant colors, spooking decorations and sweet treats. Stampin’ Up! has introduced Halloween themed papers, stamp set and a scrapbooking kit through Online Exclusives and the new Scrapbooking brochure!

Here is a photo of the Spells and Potions stamp and die bundle.

Here is a photo of the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper that is shown in my host code graphic.

Ready to place your order for these spooking Halloween products? Make sure to check out the Halloween Memories scrapbooking kit, Halloween Memories photopolymer stamp set, Halloween Memories two tone paper in my online store by searching “Halloween” at the online store. Then use my host code Y9NCSHZ7 as directed below.

My current Host Code is Y9NCSHZ7.

Host codes gather online orders to one party, allowing the host to earn a few host rewards. The host code changes every few weeks because the party needs to “close” so that host rewards can be tallied. This is the same step that would be taken if an in-person party would be held in your home. The host code would close so that you would know how many host rewards you have to spend and then spend them (yes!) to receive fabulous products.

Use my host code and receive a free, emailed pdf idea file from me! Customers that order greater than $150 of product should not use a host code so you can spend all the host rewards yourself. Remain shopping with me, if your product order is greater than $150 and I’ll email you the free pdf idea file too.

Click on the host code graphic below if you are ready to place an order using my current host code OR CLICK ON THE APPROPRIATE GRAPHIC ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY BLOG. The host code graphic on the right side will be automatically linked to my current host code. There are 2 graphics on the right side of my blog that will zoom you to my online store: one that is linked to my host code and one that is not.

After placing your order through my online store, be watching your email in-box for the free pdf idea file from me! Thank you!
