Holidays Paper Crafting Blog Hop

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring Christmas projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Ginger Rabesa’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

The Christmas Pines stamp set and coordinating Pretty Pines framelits have finally arrived in my house. I thought my sister Tricia purchased them when they were introduced with the bundle pricing. We would discuss getting the products several times this year until I finally wanted to use them. I asked if I could borrow them and she said she did not get them. So off I went to purchase them with my demonstrator discount. That really helps stretch the paper crafting dollars.

I am so happy with this card. It’s made festive with the pine cone and sprig embellishments cut using the Pretty Pines framelits. The Wood Crate framelits make cutting a wooden crate easy. The decorated crate is my favorite part of this greeting card.

Thank you for hopping around with us as we showcase holiday gifting projects. You may have arrived from Audra Monk’s blog and her fabulous project. My project is below.

I decided to create a belly band around our acetate gift boxes. The patterned paper is from the Under the Mistletoe package and measures 4×12 inches. Custom fold around the box for easy decoration.

The middle candy cane is popped up on mini dimensionals. The outer two are adhered with glue dots. Our candy cane builder punch also includes a bow. The bow was the perfect accent to dress up the silver metallic edge ribbon bow.

These boxes fit about 5 greeting cards and envelopes or a pillow gift for my downline while at #onstage, our convention celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary! I hope she likes it!

Please leave a comment and let me know what you would tuck inside the boxes.

Thank you for hopping with us. Now click on the next image below to travel to Debbi Green’s blog to see what fun colors she used in her project.

Welcome to our Ink and Share Blog Hop featuring projects designed by my fellow Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators and me. This month, we are featuring a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. We pick 3 squares from the grid in tic tac toe form and design using the options in the squares. If you are hopping around, you have arrived from Sandrine Jse’s blog and her fabulous project.

My hop design features the Alpine Adventures stamp set and Alpine Sports Thinlets.

I added Red Rhinestones for my embellishment, used Whisper White Baker’s Twine for the ribbon and a Pearlized Doilie for the circle.

10 27 18 bloghop2-001

The Swirls and Curls textured impression embossing folder adds just the right texture to an early espresso card base to complete the snow scene. Other cardstock is whisper white and real red along with Wood Textures designer series paper.

All the supplies used and a Big Shot too!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop with Falling for Leaves

bloghopbannerapril2018-001

I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring fall themed projects. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. She had a fabulous project!

I decided to reach into the piece stash to create a quick greeting card. The Detailed Leaves die cut and the negative around it are from the stash. When I first cut a leaf a few weeks ago from this piece of Nature’s Poem patterned paper, I discarded it because the colors were too bright. But upon looking at the colors today, these colors match the leaves that are outside of house right now. So the color combo was appealing for the design session today.

10 16 18 blog hop1-001

I highlighted the striped brown tones by backing the focal point on early espresso cardstock and stamping with early espresso ink.

I next highlighted the orange tones by grabbing the negative of a leaf die cut from a different patterned paper. This was backed with grapefruit grove cardstock and accented with grapefruit grove ribbon.

It’s fun to weed through my pieces stash. What have you created lately from your pieces stash?
