Welcome to the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop featuring It’s a Guy Thing designs. I hope you are enjoying our stops. We have great projects to share with you! If you are hopping along, you just arrived from Jenilee’s blog and her great project.

The Guy Greetings stamp set with the vintage look was my starting point during my design session. Neutral tones with a pop of pacific point paired well with this stamp set. Card base is crumb cake. Next layer is basic black embossed using the garden trellis embossing folder and my Big Shot.

Pacific point is next which I found in my scrap bin. I saved this piece after punching the circle since what is left would be good for more punching. Since I am covering the pacific point piece with a crumb cake layer, no one will know it is not a full piece except you and me:) I have done this technique twice in one week. It’s a good one to use when cardstock inventory is running low.

This shows the back side of the copper foil. The black ice technique used on the front warps the paper slightly since the heat gun is used. So I wanted to use tear n tape to securely adhere it.

Supplies used…plus the Sliding Door framelits, the little hinged rollers adds a nice accent towards to the bottom of the copper foil, popped with the pacific point cardstock.

I used the trendy black ice technique to add the stamp images to the copper foil piece. This technique includes a clear layer of stampin’ emboss powder on top of the stamped images. I created a youtube video sharing this technique and a different version of the Guy Greetings card. Here is the Youtube video.

I hope you are enjoying our It’s a Guy Greeting. Now click on the NEXT image to hop to Tammy’s blog to see her great project. Thanks for hopping with us!
