Fun at Weekend Paper Crafting Retreat

It’s been 2 sleeps since 20 paper crafters converged on Wildwood Retreat for 3 days and 2 nights of paper crafting fun. Lots of good food, conversation and creating papercrafts. We had the range of crafts from party favors, scrapbooks, greeting cards and digital design too. A sewing machine was humming too.

Tammy baked her birthday cake. She treated us to earl gray flavored cake and rich, buttery frosting for the bottom layer. The top layers were lemon poppyseed with lemon curd. Both delicious!

Tricia designed the Saturday night table favor. She did a nice job!

Julie caters the Saturday night meal. Sharon helps Julie with the prep. She featured greek dishes this time: falafel, stuffed grape leaves, greek baked beans, hummus and lettuce salad. Falafel was my favorite.

May Good Things Grow with Paper Pumpkin

I participated in a Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop featuring the May Good Things Grow March kit yesterday. If you missed it, click here to hop along. Lots of great alternate projects showcased on the hop from other talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. My hop design is a 2 page 12×12 scrapbook layout. Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit and want to share with you our enthusiasm for this box of fun and creativity. The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use this March Paper Pumpkin kit: May Good Things Grow.

This kit created 8 cards with pocket envelopes. The pocket envelopes make great memorabilia envelopes on a scrapbook layout. The card supplies create space for photo mats. The open space at the top of the pages are for titles when photos are added.

This kit contained bonus wood die cuts in celebration of Paper Pumpkin’s 5th Anniversary. Attach them with glue dots or green glue. The stamps and ink are from the kit too.
