Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are fans of this monthly crafting kit. Follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as designed, or use the supplies as a starting point to let your creativity run wild.

On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas on how to use the January Paper Pumpkin kit, Be My Valentine, in alternate projects. You may have arrived from June Olsen’s blog. She had a great project!

The chameleon stamp with the fly friend is part of the included stamp set in the Paper Pumpkin kit. After all the kit supplies are used up, you can still use the stamp set on alternate projects. So I decided to use garden green ink on the stamp and color using ink pads and a blender pen.

All the solid colored paper was processed through the Big Shot using either the new Rectangle Stitched framelits (item # 148551, 13 sizes in this set!) or the squares from the Stitched Shapes framelits (item #145372). The “You’re So Fly” piece was stamped on a strip of whisper white that was 1/2 inch high. Then it was cut using the smallest square framelit giving it a coordinating stitched look on 2 sides.

Stampin’ Up! produces a fast time motion Youtube video to show kit assembly for the visual learners out there (including me!).

Thank you for joining us as we share the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop over to Cheryl Hamilton’s blog to see what she designed.
